If you are interested in aging, we'd love to hear from you

Our lab studies the cellular and organismal consequences of DNA damage — how it drives aging and age-associated disease, and how metabolic interventions such as NAD⁺ precursors, mitophagy and PARP modulation might slow it down. We combine molecular biology, metabolism, mitochondrial research and machine-learning approaches to discover interventions that could help everyone live healthier, happier and more productive lives.

We are always keen to meet motivated master's students, PhD students or postdocs who are curious about the biology of aging and want to turn mechanism into therapy. Whether you're just starting out or already deep in your research career, we'd love to hear what excites you about aging — reach out, tell us about yourself, and let's explore how we might work together.

You can send an application to mscheibye@sund.ku.dk and wiktoriat@sund.ku.dk or apply via the official University of Copenhagen portal.
